Can Power Wire of Curt Trailer Wiring Harness C56093 be Ran Through Vehicle Interior
Question:
I am a stickler for doing 110 when mounting things. Am disabled and getting off the ground more than once is not an option for me. Can the lead to battery be run under the carpet and through firewall? I cannot have the 4 way plug exiting trunk as shown. I want to be able to run those wires under the car like installer ran power line. Is there any mounting bracket available for 4 way plug ? Having to do self install myself. Definitely going to be fun.

It's certainly possible to run the power wire of the Curt trailer wiring harness # C56093 through the interior of the vehicle if you wanted to. We don't have specific instructions for that but it would basically be just like you mentioned where you'd run it under the carpet and through the firewall. I attached a help article to this page for more info on this as well.
To mount the 4-way like you mentioned where it's attached to the hitch you'll need to find a hole in the floor of the trunk that you could fit the harness through. For a universal bracket you could attach to rear bumper as well the part # 18144 would work well for a simple solution.
