Correct Replacement Handle for Lippert Electric Trailer Tongue Jack

Question:

Hi guys, Just helping a buddy who bought a used RV with what appears to be a Lippert #285318, but all signage and identifiers are gone. He is looking for the hand crank that s in the top of the jack head. The rod to attach to inside the electric jack is in the form of a circle with a detent on it, much like a D. From a pic I found, it would appear there is some sort of adapter nut that goes over this D, to become a hex nut for the hand crank. Any of that make sense? Ill attach a photo. If I am correct on choice of make/model, he needs that adapter nut to go over the Dfoot and then the crank itself. The latter is easy to find but wondering if you can help with the adapter nut? Thanks

The correct replacement manual override handle for a Lippert tongue jack is the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack with Footplate part # LC285324. If the photo you have attached is of the jack you need a handle for then it will work though I am a bit confused by the way you have described this. It's a simple hex nut is all. The socket will slip over the hex nut allowing the leg to extend/retract.
