Yakima Skybox 21 Replacement Lift Struts

Need the back strut. I am note sure of the age of the box but I believe it is older sine it has skybox written on the side logos and rivits are shown. What is the correct back lifting strut?

I checked with Yakima and for the SkyBox 21 made from 2009 to present the lift struts are part # 8880683 for the rear and # 8880684 for the front.

I checked with Yakima and for the SkyBox 21 the correct lid supports are part #8880683 and #8880684.

Yes, the Replacement Lid Support for Yakima RocketBox item #8870094 will also work with the SkyBox cargo boxes which is what the 8870072 part number you referenced is for.

The correct rear hinge for your Yakima SkyBox 18, like part #Y07336, is the Replacement Lid Support #8880683. I spoke with my contact at Yakima who confirmed this as well.
