Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at the Griot's Garage Boss Perfecting Foam Pads. These foam pads are right at five and a half inches in diameter and five eighths of an inch thick. And they are gonna install on your five inch orbital backing plate on your random orbital, with a simple hook-and-loop attachment, to, well, attach on that backside there. Now, these are the perfecting pads from Griot's Boss line.
There are two other options in that Boss line. You've got your correcting pads and your finishing pads. So, these are gonna be kind of the middle of the road. They're more for removing hazing and blemishes. And other light defects on your vehicle.
Those correcting pads are gonna be a little bit stiffer foam. They're gonna be more for removing nicks and swirls and other light to moderate defects. And then, your finishing pads are gonna be even thinner, less dense foam. And those are going to be for applying finishing cream where other sealant on your vehicle. So, make sure you're getting the right pads for your application.
These are going to be nice, lightweight foam pads and they're not going to weigh down your orbital or make it difficult for you to control as you're going around. They are nice and firm. And they're gonna be very durable and long- lasting. When they're dirty, you can just throw them in the washing machine, to clean them up. You do get two pads.
So, while one is in the washing machine, you can use the other one take care of your vehicle. These do have the cooling hole in the middle. You can see there. That's going to help exhaust the heat, hot air, to help protect the pad from any heat damage. It's gonna help it retain its shape and resist bending. So, Griot's is really good at creating products that help to maintain the look of your vehicle.
