Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Taylor made Bimini top square internal eye end. This is going to allow you to connect to your Bimini top support poles to your jaw slides or deck hinges so that you can easily open and close them securely. This does fit the one inch wide Bimini poles that are square. As you can see, there's a black nylon material, so it's going to hold up well in those aquatic conditions. You're not going to have to worry about it rusting or anything like that. There is a white option if you're interested rather than the black.
This has the same features, same dimensions, everything. It's just in white. Can find that here at etrailer using part number 36911832.Now the way this is going to work, you'll take the open end of your pole, slide your eye end in there, crimp down on this crimp edge here, and then you'll use the included screw to drill through the pole and the eye end to hold those together. Then you can take your deck hinge or your jaw slide. I'm using the horizontal deck hinge part number 36911717, run up the eye holes there, put in your bolts that's included in the deck hinge and you've got that hinging functions that you can close and open your Bimini top.Give you a few dimensions to make sure this is the right part for you.
The inside portion or the part that's going to be inside our pole is about 11/16 of an inch long and the closest I could say would probably be about 27/32 of an inch wide. The crimping edge here, once it's inside the pole, you need to know how far down to crimp, is right about 7/16 of an inch.As far as our outside portion, the part that's going to be on top of our Bimini pole, it is going to be right about 1-1/16th of an inch tall. Obviously it tapers out here to about an inch, but then it tapers down to the rounded edge there. Our hole diameter is right about one quarter of an inch. This product is made here in the USA. And that's going to complete our look at the Taylor made Bimini top square internal eye end..

Replace a lost or damaged eye on your bimini top's 1" square support pole. Eye end slides into pole and connects to a jaw slide or deck hinge. Black nylon is corrosion-proof.Item fit perfectly in the tube. I was pleasantly surprised because this is a 1994 Bimini top. The original was riveted in place but I think the screw will hold
The product was exactly what I needed.....I bought two other ones that did not fit from a different site. Your site explained how the outside dimension and inside dimension clearly. This allowed me to finally get the correct part.
After first being told in an email that the product was back ordered it arrived in 1 week from the day that I ordered it. I thought that was pretty impressive
