Trailer Hitch, Wiring Harness and Ball Mount for 2019 Hyundai Kona
Question:
I have a 2019 Hyundai Kona and would like to attach a small u-hual trailer to take a few items back and forth between Palos Hills, IL, and Allegan, MI. Not a lot of weight. Its about 2.5 hours driving time. Someone said I would need a 2 inch receiver. What product would you suggest in the way of a hitch?

Expert Reply:
There is a trailer hitch that fits your 2019 Hyundai Kona, but it is a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver, and there are no hitches with a 2 inch receiver available for your Kona. All of the parts you need to tow a small trailer with your 2019 Hyundai Kona are the following:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11529
- T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C99KR
- Draw-Tite Drawbar # 3593
- 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # 19256 or 2" Hitch Ball # 19258 (depending on the size of your trailer's coupler)
I have added links to some reviews as well as installation instructions for you to check out as well.
