Do the CE Smith Roller-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers Need To Be Painted
Question:
I just purchased a pair of CE27609PG unit and note that you recommend priming and painting them before installation. Is there a brand of paint/primer you recommend for this purpose? Please reply by email. Thanks in advance.

The CE Smith Roller-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers part # CE27610 are galvanized which is a zinc coating. This coating will do a great job of resisting rust so you don't need to worry about painting them. In fact, paint does not adhere to galvanized metal.
I am not sure where you saw the note about painting but if you can let me know I would be glad to try and explain.
