Inner Pontoon Boat Bunk Style Guide-Ons For Boat Trailer or Boat Lift

Question:

I have an 8foot wide pontoon boat that I dock on a permanent cradle lift in a boat house. The dock is too narrow to use guides on the outside of the pontoons. Can this kit be used to create inside guides along the pontoons by having the carpeted bunks turned outboard towards the inside of the pontoons ? Similar to this very expensive setup but on my cradle see picture

Helpful Expert Reply:

Yes, you can use the CE Smith Bunk-Style Guide-On Kit # CE27600K90 for the inside pontoons on your cradle lift. You will want to ensure that the uprights will not interfere with anything under your boat when on the lift. The uprights are 19-3/4" tall from the frame rail and have no pre drilled holes for the hardware.

The included hardware will fit frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/2" tall. A Extra-Long U-Bolt Kit # CE11416 will fit a frame up to 3" wide x 5-1/4" tall. Or CE Smith I-Beam Clamps # CE27682A can be used on frames with I-beam frames with a width of 2-1/2" to 4-1/2".
