Troubleshooting Trailer Hitch Receiver Bolts That Won"t Install in Factory Weldnuts
Question:
i have a 2013 chevy equinox. i bought a etrailer hitch from you and the bolts wont fit in the weld nuts. could it be possible they are too big.

For your 2013 Chevy Equinox, the # e98865 you bought (according to the invoice associated with your email) is the correct fit. It is a fit for 2005 to 2017 models so it is likely there is either grime in the weldnuts or powder coat overspray that is in the threads that needs to be cleaned up. I don't think the bolts are too big... which should be M12-1.75 x 40mm.
