How To Obtain 60" Hitch Extension for 2011 GMC Sierra 2500/3500 for Towing with In-Bed Camper
Question:
I need a 2 1/2 tow hitch extension 60 long for a 2011 GMC Sierra Diesel Dually. I want to tow a 18 boat behind a Lance 1161 truck camper total weight boat/trailer is about 3,500 lbs. What are my options?

Expert Reply:
The only trailer hitch extension available in a 60" length is the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension part # TLE1560 which then must be used with the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver part # TLC1209 for models with 6-1/2' bed or part # TLC1208 for 8' long beds. That said, this is going to be your only option. It will provide you with a 5,000 lb gross trailer weight rating. You'll also need the TorkLift Wiring Harness Extension part # TLW6060.
