The universal quick-release bracket makes it easy to mount and dismount the seat. The quick-release bracket is for use on bikes with a round frame diameter of 1.07" to 1.57" or elliptical frames with a max of 1.57" to 2.16". The bracket is not compatible on square, triangular, or carbon fiber frames.
Bicycles with saddles that are positioned too low for the seat to be mounted safely may require the RideAlong low saddle adapter (sold separately).
The Thule RideAlong bike seat is designed with your child's safety in mind. The seat's 3-point harness has a childproof buckle, so your child can't accidentally undo the harness.
The foot straps secure your child's feet so they stay protected, and shielding around the legs keeps little feet and legs away from your bike's wheel spokes.
The RideAlong also has molded wings along the armrests that safeguard your child's hands from pinching if the seat is leaned against a wall.
Being visible during low-light rides is incredibly important, and thanks to the built-in reflector and additional safety light attachment point, you can be sure you're seen.
The included quick-release bracket clamps onto your bike. The bike seat snaps into the quick-release bracket, and the bike seat's bracket has a red safety indicator so you know that the seat is locked securely in place.
The adjustable seat harness straps and footrests allow you to customize the bike seat's fit for your child. The harness straps can be lengthened easily by pressing the blue button on the strap to fit over a bike helmet and raised as your child grows taller. The footrests raise or lower depending on the height of the passenger, and the foot straps adjust to fit growing feet. This flexibility means that the seat will work for more than one biking season. The footrest and foot strap adjustments can be made with one hand, making it easier to put your child in the seat and adjust the fit while holding the bike upright.
Thule's thoughtful design details make this child bike seat super comfortable. The shoulder harness is padded to prevent the straps from cutting into your child's neck and shoulders, and the seat liner has cushioning to ensure that your little one has a softer ride.
The RideAlong has five different reclining positions (up to 20 degrees) to allow for more comfortable naps during a ride.
Practical drain holes remove rainwater or any other liquid spilled in the seat. Additionally, this allows the padding and the seat to dry out faster for a more comfortable ride for your child.
The seat liner is water-repellent in case of spills, and both the liner and the shoulder harness can be removed and machine washed. Reverse the seat liner and you can easily change the look of the seat. The seat comes with a liner that is dark gray on one side and purple on the other.
An additional seat liner is available (sold separately) to even further customize the look of your RideAlong seat with light gray or orange padding.
The included quick-release bracket clamps onto the rear seat post of your bike. The bike seat snaps into the quick-release bracket and is locked securely into place using the integrated locking system. The carrier bars are easily released by pressing the blue button on the front of the bracket.
The quick-release bracket can remain locked on your bike so you can easily attach the child seat the next time you take your toddler for a ride.
An additional quick-release bracket (sold separately) can be installed on a second bike to make it easier for 2 people to share carrying duties. The built-in lock utilizes the Thule One-Key System. This locking system allows you to change out the lock cores on multiple accessories to make them all keyed alike. So if you have 2 different seat brackets on separate bikes and want them keyed alike, you can replace the existing lock cores with 2 Thule One-Key System lock cores (sold separately).

The idea was, to take my little one with me, when I ride the bike, with her older sister. Unfortunately my bike lacks all the features (rack, disc brakes) that allows mounting a cheaper child bike seat. With the THULE, I was able to mount it to the frame, the installation was easy and the adjustments made in no time. If I didn’t have to fight an overexcited toddler, I could have done the initial setup in probably 30 minutes, instead of 45.
We made one test ride and my daughter loved it. She was comfortable and I felt safe with her in the back.
Although, it was a little challenging at first to get the seat connected to the frame we love how sturdy it was. Love that you can lock it in place. She loved her first ride.
Installation is simple, seat it roomy for your kiddo, the ability to quickly remove is clutch!
This bike seat is just right for our needs. Our little one outgrew his previous Thule bike seat so we needed the next size up. Once I got this installed and tried it out it was obvious that this was a much needed upgrade. Our child is now more comfortable on rides. Adjustments are easy to get the proper fit and the mount is now problem to install. We also got an additional mount for a second bike so my wife and I can swap between riders and the attachment is very easy to manage. The last ride we took together our little one ended up falling asleep and the reclining feature aloud us to make sure his head wasn't bobbing down while we headed back home. It's a great bike seat all around.
We received this shipment after waiting about 3 weeks (due to the delay from manufacturer itself, and likely from the covid-qp pandemic situation). etrailer has been VERY RESPONSIVE! I’m surprised. I am so happy I ordered from etrailer. Initially, I chose expedited shipping to Hawaii, but because of the delays, I had received a phone call from etrailer’s supervisor and she apologized because it was out of stock. She was very quick to let me know the estimated shipment from the manufacturer. I ended up getting it shipped out 2 weeks earlier!
The suspension is great. My son just made 1yo and he wnjoyed the smooth ride. The recline is perfect and a must for younger children! My other half said Thule could have bubble wrapped it. We took the seat out of the box with some black markings sort of like small dings, but it seemed only cosmetic and no damage to the seat. Love this seat!!!
Bike seat is great. Shipping on the other hand took about 3 weeks. I actually ordered from etrailer because we were planning a trip in 2 weeks and etrailer originally showed a 1 week shipping time while other websites were showing as long as a month (due to COVID). But then as I checked the website for updates the shipping kept getting delayed and the bike seat actually did not arrive in time for our trip, which was the main reason I ordered from etrailer instead of another retailer. eTrailer could be better at providing more accurate shipping times upfront and also proactively emailing if shipping delays occur. eTrailer never sent me updates telling me it was going to be delayed, I had to log into website manually and check order status and kept seeing progressively later shipping estimates.

This is a fantastic seat and has brought my family a lot of joy over the past year. It's very sturdy and easily adjustable. Thule is one of the top brands and the money is well worth it. I am very happy with my purchase.
I have enjoyed using my Thule ride along child bike seat this past year. My grandson loves it and seems to be very comfortable in it. With three more grandkids on the way it should provide enjoyment for years to come.
Great company and service. We had ordered the wrong child bike seat by mistake which we noticed when we received it. I called and they put in the new correct order, which we received right away. They also emailed us the return UPS shipping label to send the old one back.

This bike seat is great. It has many adjustments to provide a good fit for you child. It seems to be a well designed product. The installation was fairly straightforward. My child seemed to enjoy our first bike ride together.
Great child seat, I would highly recommend the Thule RideAlong seat and etrailer for the purchase. I researched this product extensively, when I needed to upgrade our current child bike seat due to weight and height restrictions of the old one. The Thule seat is the best you can get without a doubt, I priced it out everywhere from Amazon on down, etrailer not only the best price but I think has the best customer service with tech support, product reviews and a general concern that the customer be happy with their purchases. This is my second purchase from etrailer and I assure it won't be my last!
We just put the seat on the bike this morning. It is well designed, solid, and fits together easily. After a few adjustments, my daughter and I went for a long ride together. She loved it.
Great seat. Easy to install and remove. Bars flex and serve as a suspension. My kid loves it too.
Bike seat arrived yesterday. Shipping time was about three days. The kid who'll get into the seat seems happy as he was trying it out last night in the kitchen. No comments on product utility yet, but this looks to be another quality product from Thule.

The security snap that secures the child is VERY difficult to engage and disengage. We have to carry and use a pliers to secure and release our grandchildren.
