Custom-Fit Towing Mirrors
Easily extend your field of vision and reduce blind spots with these CIPA slip-on towing mirrors. By adding them to your OEM side-view mirrors, you can see beyond the end of your trailer. This will allow you to safely and easily change lanes, pass, and park with a trailer in tow.
Each of these mirrors is molded to perfectly match the contours of your factory side mirrors. Simply slide the mirrors over your side-view mirrors and use the custom-formed, felt-covered wedges to hold the mirrors in place. Each wedge wraps around the inside edge of your OEM mirror and can be tightened onto the mirror with an easily accessible hand knob.
These slip-on mirrors will fit factory mirrors that look like the mirror in the image above.

Tool-free installation.These are the best removable towing mirrors I've used, and I've gone through a few different kinds over the years. They look great on the truck, almost like stock towing mirrors at first glance. They have decent viewing area, low distortion & clear image, minimal vibration, and seem to stay aimed in position pretty well. They block the slightest amount of the stock mirrors at top and bottom on my model...not enough to matter. Also, ETRAILER shipped them to me FAST, and that was with economy shipping option!
I liked these mirrors and they were perfect for the job I was doing, pulling a trailer across country. The only problem I had was that I received two of the "inserts" for the same side rather than one for each side. I was able to make it work and, like I said, these worked well and looked like factory options, without looking "ugly". Wish I could get just the one needed insert and then it would be "5 stars". Here is a photo of the mirrors after a snowy road-trip night. You can see that they don't stick out too far but I found that they added just the right amount of angle to be able to see my trailer behind me. Nice product.
Product fits great and doesn't look out of place. It is a wonderful compromise for keeping the simple aesthetic of the factory sport mirrors for daily driving, and being able to attach these for the occasional trip towing one of my trailers. Attaches solid, no shake or rattle and does all I expect of them, couldn't ask for more.
This worked good towing a 29 ft goose neck RV I could see all the way around the trailer.
Love these tow mirrors. Delivered ahead of schedule, fit perfectly and very minimal vibration if at all. Price is great. I recommend for sure.
I ordered the CIPA towing mirrors for a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 after looking at your web site and video, I was particularly interested in whether the passenger side mirror was an actual mirror and not a convex bulls eye, which it is.(actual mirror) So now I can see exactly where my right rear bumper/corner is in relation to. The mirrors came in a professional package and completely undamaged. I had previously ordered this item from a competitor but returned it as it did not fit the truck.Also the package was torn and the contents were filthy. I am very satisfied with your service/product.

These mirrors are exactly what I expected and work well. I'd replaced a 7' wide enclosed trailer with an 8.5' wide and was concerned about being able to see behind from my half ton pickup. The mirrors work well and I used them the first several times I used the new trailer. I discovered however, that, with caution, I can see well enough just using the standard mirrors on my RAM 1500 even though they do not extend. So the last several times I've used the trailer, I have not used the mirrors. Every single time I've used etrailer, I've been impressed with the result! No negative feedback ever.

The mirrors are fine but I kind of quit using them and just go with the stock mirrors when I tow my trailer. I can see well enough to change lanes easily and just didnt find enough of an advantage to install the extended mirrors every time. And without the trailer, they make my pickup too wide to fit into the pole building where I park so I wouldnt leave them mounted. One thing that did take some getting used to when I was using them is that the add on mirrors are flat and the stock are a wide angle that kind of make distance perception interesting. All my experiences, although limited, with etrailer have been good ones and Ive recommended it to others.
Purchased mirror extensions for my dodge ram pickup. The fit was excellent and it took only 4 days the arrive via economy shipping. I noticed on some of the less expensive mirrors you couldn't tell a VW from a KW, but these are crystal clear and adjustable! They are as advertised A+++.

Easy to install, easy to adjust, gives a great view down the sides of my camper.
I was surprised at how well these fit my mirrors.
Works well. Attached easily to my existing mirrors. Liked that I could adjust each mirror individually,

Ive sold the vehicle, but the mirrors always worked and gave me a great view of my trailer and its tires
The only good thing I can say about these is that the mounting system works surprisingly well. They fit on the stock mirrors just like they should. They stayed put and did not seem to be effected by vibration from rough roads or by the wind.
Unfortunately they were pretty much useless for me. The way the mirror pivots in it's ball and socket joint makes it very difficult to adjust and aim correctly. As tight as the joint is one would not expect the mirror to move around. It does, evidently from vibration because it is vibrating constantly.
It got to the point that I might take a quick glance at these once in a while just in case they were pointing the right direction. Mostly it was wishful thinking.
If you are looking at these be sure to test them thoroughly before you start on a long trip.
Or buy something else.
simple, stay forward and easy to install. And it looks good compared to the universal mirror extensions you get at the chain stores.

The mirrors are touchy regarding adjustment. Otherwise they are still working great and look good.
This is the second pair of these mirrors I have purchased (first set for a Suburban), because of my experience with the first set, purchasing the second set was easy. When I purchased them before I went to a brick and mortar establishment, this time by purchasing on line I paid about the same but there is a 20 year time span between now and then. etrailer is competitive in pricing and doing a follow-up one year later shows what most consumers want "Customer Service". It's hard to find and it's nice when it happens.

Perfect Fit
This is my 3rd pair of CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors. I had the last a good long while and thought I secured it firmly to my truck mirrors on my last trip, but they do fall off. I have a camper and the extended mirrors give added safety to see cars from a distance. Been very happy with this product and glad you it in stock for my make and model year.
These slip on towing mirrors work very well. They do the job I needed without paying for expensive replacement mirrors having to be installed.
We have had a pair of these for quiet a while. On a recent trip to another town to do some shopping the left one blew off the mirror and shattered. Human error left the fastener loose while starting to remove it and place it in storage, was distracted and forgotten. These are a great product, always function well no matter what the weather is. We have never had a problem and we highly recommend this product. These mirrors are the best for us, great visibility, affordable, well made, easy to remove or install as needed and will last years.
Unfortunately had to return the Custom-Towing-Mirrors: CIPA CM10500 because they did not fit over my 2001 Dodge Dakota factory mirrors. Will have to try another brand/model.
Works really well. Only had one problem. One of the mirrors came unglued from back. Fixed it with some double sided Gorilla tape.

These worked great. Easy to put on, perfect fit, and they worked great for 500 miles of towing.
The picture of the 2001 Dodge 1500 truck mirror on the product page really helped with knowing I was ordering the correct mirror.
These mirrors fit really nice. No vibration so the visibility is great. We are very happy with this purchase and would recommend them to anyone looking at this product.
These side mirrors work great. Easy to put on. Gives me a better view behind my camper, making lane changes much safer. Won't pull the camper without them.
Mirrors were received in good order. Packed well and easy to explain instructions. Took the outside and put them on the Truck and they fit just as they said they would. The quality seems ok may I remind you they are plastic and don't believe the could stand up to a lot of abuse. The mirrors seem a little blurry but good enough. For the price if they last a season or 2 its well worth it.

Im still using them. The alignment drifts sometimes, so they need to be adjusted fairly frequently, but overall, the next best thing to spending hundreds of dollars for aftermarket towing mirrors to replace the stock mirrors :
