Expert Reply:

The weight capacity for the Dexter Heavy-Duty Suspension Kit for Tandem-Axle Trailers part # K71-448-00 is really going to be determined by the spring and the tires on the trailer they don't have a specified weight rating. It is for use with 1 3/4" wide springs so let's take the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 7,000-lb Trailer Axles - 24-7/8" part # e64SR this spring is rated for 3500 lbs. and is used on 7000 lb axles. It is the heaviest we offer so this kit that will connect two of these is rated for 7000 lbs. Just be sure that your tires are also rated for the load you intend on carrying.

Your maximum capacity is going to be that of your lowest rated component whether that's the springs or tires.
