Thule Roof Rack Components that Fit Leer Roof Rack Channels

Question:

I bought a used a leer cap for my track that has rails installed - the previous owner said they were factory installed. I have quite a few Thule pieces from prior vehicles including a set of feet and TK1 kit. According to what I can find, these should fit the factory rails. However, the opening on the rails is only about 3/8 in and the spacers on the TK1 are 1/2 in. Are they other spacers to use for these feet? Or do I need a different kit?

The challenging aspect of your scenario is that you have quite a bit of Thule parts that could be put together to make a roof rack that should fit your channels but since Thule recently redesigned their roof racks the parts you have now are not longer supported.

So we really can only help you with the new style of rack that uses the podium feet part # TH460R, the fit kit part # THKIT3101, and crossbars like the # TH712500 which is a combination we know fits the Leer roof rack channels.
