Guys, I can't get past the horribly bad packaging for this shipment. I was away when this arrived at my house. My neighbor was kind enough to put the box in my garage. He sent pics showing the horrible condition of the box and that the trailer hitch had poked out of several areas. I have yet to open it, but have to assume the contents are damaged and may have some parts or hardware missing. THE BOX THIS WAS SHIPPED IN WAS NOWHERE NEAR BEING UP TO THE TASK!!!!

Item #C42CR was not in the delivery package. It has not been received.
The hitch was received in good order and was installed as hoped. I am extremely pleased with the tow hitch. I highly recommend it.

All items were in same box with the tail lights loose in the box. Gladly the lights were not damaged. I'm hoping this way of shipping is not typical for trailer. Thanks

Follow the great video that is available thru etrailer website and you will not have any install issues..purchase the wiring kit and bracket and the install will go as planned. The products are built to last and fit is perfect..

It doesn’t come With the self driving screws, but the bracket was perfect for what I needed. Fortunately I had some self driving bolts that worked perfectly. I believe 7/16 or 3/8 was the size of the self driving bolts that I used

I hate to hear that it is not fitting. I want to help and I have a question for you. Is it that the bracket is too small or too big? If the bracket is too big, you can use electrical tape to thicken the four way connector to help it stay in. Or if it is too small then I recommend using a different bracket such as part # HM48595 to hold the 4 way in place. It is also made by Hopkins so it will fit.

I WAS GOING TO GET A HITCH FROM ANOTHER COMPANY THAT SELLS AND INSTALLS HITCHS [AND RENT TRUCKS AND TRAILERS]. THEY MADE IT SEEM THAT IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO MYSELF, AND THEN I DID SOME LOOKING ON YOUR WEBSITE, AND WATCHED YOUR VIDEO. YOU SHOWED STEP BY STEP ON WHAT DO. TOLD ME TO LOOK FOR WIREING HARNESS THAT HAD A PLUG TO PLUG YOUR WIRE TO. EVERTHING WAS JUST AS HE SAID, IT TOOK ME 1 HOUR TO INSTALL HITCH AND WIRE HARNESS, SAVED ME AROUND $[XX], THANK AGAIN.

Easy and simple. Only gave 4 stars because item did not come with mounting bolts. Easy fix with bolts I had on hand. No drilling required because it was compatible with the Draw Tite Class III (76034) I also purchased from etrailer.

Worked great I ordered the universal mount for it also, but did not use it. I put the Draw Tite undermount hitch on Grand Cherokee last year and didn't realize it had the mount welded on it. Advice check yours before ordering.

This does the trick. Looks factory and is easy to install. Definitely recommend using this for wiring you trailer hitch plug. Clean installation and looks great.

This does not work with Tekonshea 4 pole connectors that are tapered. It will not lock into place. Additionally, it does not come with any self tapping screws or anything to attach this to the hitch. I would not recommend this.

It is not the first time we have heard this. Sometimes it happens with these types of four flat bracket no matter the brand. I recommend using electrical tape to thicken the four way connector to help it stay in. You are correct in that I wish the manufacturer would include hardware with it. Or you can consider using this with a no drill bracket like part # 18136 or part # 18140.

I’m sure it’s a good piece. My curt hitch is round. Bumper is plastic so I didn’t want to secure it to that. I went and looked at reviews and saw a video that shows a long bar with a strap that it was attached to to secure it. Wish I had seen that when I was ordering.
