If you're trailer has an overall weight capacity of 7,000 lbs this likely means you have a tandem axle trailer and hub and drums with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern like part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K. If this is the case then it is very likely that you have need 1/2" lug nuts like part # CE11051.

Should you have a older 7,000 lb axle with a 5 bolt pattern then you likely have something like the hub and drum assembly # 8-174-5UC3 which uses 9/16" bolts so you'd need a lug nut like part # 6-53 for a 60 degree cone or # STN569 for a 90 degree cone. This hub has a unique 5 bolt design so it would definitely stand out.

There are different angled cones for the wheel lug nuts found on trailer wheels and hubs. The most common lug nut cone degree is the standard 60 degree like the part #12CLN-L. We also the 90 degree cone with part #STN569.
