This pump is specifically designed to attach to 5-gallon buckets. If you work on cars in your shop or in your garage at home, you likely have 5-gallon buckets of engine oil and hydraulic fluid. Why waste your time lifting that heavy bucket or transferring the fluid to a smaller container? Save yourself a bucket-load of time by extracting the hydraulic fluid right from the container it comes in by popping the top off your bucket and replacing it with this easy-to-use pump.
This pump is as simple to use as a commerical gas pump. To start siphoning, just flip the switch on the powered pump head. Squeeze the handle harder to increase the rate of flow as you pump, and back off to slow it down. A simple twist of the handle locks it into place and allows for continuous flow of liquid without the need to squeeze. When you are done pumping, simply release the handle and turn off the device.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Tera Pump fuel transfer pump. This is going to be a lithium ion battery-powered pump that will attach to your five-gallon bucket, so you can transfer your fuel to your mower, boat, or ATV, without having to worry about juggling funnels, spilling your fuel, or lifting heavy cans or buckets. This is gonna be compatible with liquids such as your engine oil, hydraulic oil, gasoline, diesel, DEF, kerosene, antifreeze, agricultural chemicals, mild detergents, and non-potable water. This will provide a flow rate of up to 4.5 gallons per minute. So it is gonna be perfect for your garages, your shops, farms, docks, campsites, really anywhere that you're needing to move those type of fluids from one container to another.
This is gonna make it much easier for you. This does have this lithium ion battery that is gonna be rechargeable, with the included power cable here. It does take about three hours to get charged up, but once it's fully charged, it will be able to discharge up to 238 gallons, and so it is gonna do a good job for you, and hold up well. I do wanna zoom in a little bit here, so you can see, we do have this power-level indicator that's going to let you know how much power you have left. You can see those lights light up to give you an idea of how much power is left in the battery.
This does not come with a five-gallon bucket, so you can just put it on whatever bucket you have. I do have an example here, so you can see how this is gonna go in. This is going to secure onto your bucket with the included lid here. This does have these butterfly screws that will give you a nice secure connection on there. But before I tighten those down, I do wanna show you that we do have this, a 1 3/8-inch diameter telescoping intake tube that will adjust to fit your bucket.
So we can get this down to 16 1/2 inches, all the way up to 22 5/8 of an inch long, to make sure that it's gonna fit with your bucket. It does have a stainless steel end cap here, that's going to filter out any debris, keep that from getting to your motor, preventing damage. You can see, it also has these molded feet here, that's gonna prevent the tube from becoming suction-locked to the bottom of your bucket. So you'll still have room for that fluid to flow through there. So once we get this installed in place here, we are going to be able to, very simply, flip the switch, put that in the on position.
We can then use our handle here, squeeze the nozzle handle, and that's gonna allow you to control the rate of flow, so, how fast it's flowing. We can kinda lock that in place, simply by twisting this top portion. That will kinda lock that handle in place, so if we don't wanna hold it the whole time, we can get it set up. That will allow us to control the flow. And then, when you're ready to stop, you just let go of the handle, turn that switch off. We do have the built-in holster here, that's going to allow us to store our discharge nozzle safely. This is going to be about one, sorry, about six feet long, our hose here, so it's gonna give us plenty of reach to get to our destination. It's about 3/4-inch diameter rubber discharge hose. This is going to make it very simple. It's very flexible, so you can get it put in place. My lid's spinning here a little bit, but once you get it tightened down, the nozzle is gonna be connected to our swivel nut here, handle, and that's going to allow us to have 360 degrees of rotation and so we don't have to worry about the hose getting tangled up here. So this is gonna be a really great option to, again, allow you to transfer your fuel, or whatever fluid you're wanting to transfer, from a five-gallon bucket into your final destination. So that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.
