7-Way Adapter Recommendation for 2016 Honda Odyssey EXL with Aftermarket 4-Way

Question:

Will the ETBC7L work with Tekonsha’s Prodigy RF Bluetooth electronic brake control? Or will I still need to tap into the cold brake wire from the brake pedal? ALSO, should I attach the 12v power directly to the battery terminal or to the attached fuse box routed outside my battery? Would a picture help?

For your 2016 Honda Odyssey that has an aftermarket 4-way you'll need to use a 7-way adapter like the # 37185 to convert to a 7-way since your vehicle does not have 7-way or brake controller factory wiring.

That said, I would recommend the part # ETBC7L for the 7-way adapter and then for a brake controller the Curt Echo Mobile # C51180 as this is the easiest to install and best option. Once you plug it into your 7-way and it's synced to your smart phone it's totally ready to tow without excessive wiring.

The part # ETBC7L is the correct kit to use with the Prodigy RF as well. You do not need to access the stoplight circuit of our vehicle at any point with the RF or the Echo. Attach the power wire to your vehicle battery using the included relay and not through the fuse box.
