With these towing mirrors, you get a guaranteed fit and seamless OEM style. Tools and other hardware aren't needed for installation, and the secure, snap-on fit means there's no danger of losing these mirrors on the side of the road. Attach them by simply popping them over the backs of your existing mirrors. The built-in clips on the towing mirrors will grab the inside edges of your factory mirrors for a secure fit. These mirrors are customized for your vehicle, helping to prevent vibration or excessive wind noise. You'll be ready to travel in seconds, and the increased field of vision will allow you to cruise the highways stress-free.
These towing mirrors are custom designed to match the contours of your factory mirrors, and they let you retain use of the features on your factory mirrors. Cutouts in the towing mirrors line up with the turn signals, puddle lamps, and BSDS camera on your factory mirrors. And a clear panel on each towing mirror allows the LED spotlights on your factory mirrors to shine through. The add-on mirrors will not obstruct the factory mirror faces, and they will not interfere with adjustments to your factory mirrors.

What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Snap and Zap custom fit, towing mirrors. Having towing mirrors on your vehicle is going to widen the mirror. So you can see a little bit farther behind you. It's going to give you peace of mind so you can see exactly what you're hauling, but it's not about you. There's also a lot of other people on the road.
So with the added vision that we have on the back of our vehicle, it's just going to keep everybody else safe so you can see the people passing you whenever you're turning and stuff like that. And safety is the number one thing here at etrailer. We're going to get a pretty tall mirror with the snap and zaps. It's going to be about five and seven-eighths inches tall. So just as tall as your factory mirror, about three and a quarter inches wide, it is going to pivot so you can get the perfect view.
And this one actually moves a lot more than some of the other ones that we have on our site. So I really like that. You can get a perfect view of what you got going. It is going to add a little bit of length to your mirror. So now the overall length of your mirror with the custom fit towing mirror is going to be about 13 and a quarter inches.
As you can see, we have a custom fit and it does have a OEM look to it. So if you see the finish right here, there's the snap and zap, but the finish on our factory mirror, it's the same thing. So it really does look like a factory towing mirror. One thing to note, this is not going to work with the factory extendable mirrors. If you do have those, you're going to have to probably go with a universal towing mirror.
But with this one, the curves are really nice, it's super custom fit, and this little line right here, it's going to allow it to fold in, and we're not going to have any clearance issues with the glass or trim or anything like that. So since it does add a little bit of width to your mirrors, it wouldn't be a bad idea when you're in a tight parking spot or parking garage to fold these edges so nobody clips 'em. A lot of the times when you're adding stuff on your vehicle, you want to make sure it's safe, right So let's go ahead and take this off. That's the zap portion of the name just super quick and easy to pull them off. And it does sound like it is kind of touching a little bit, but the way it touches is actually just this little piece here, which just goes on the plastic part of the mirror. So it's not going to scratch or anything. And we do also have some little pads on the insides, so it's not going to wear away or anything like that. It's also not going to fade away, which is something I like because a lot of times plastic starts to fade. And since this is basically the same material of the OEM mirrors, it's not going to fade or anything like that. And to get it installed, it's really easy honestly, you just kind of just put it in, start with the top. And then you kind of grab the bottom, rotate it around and kind of push and lift up on that lip. It's a very tight fit. And then once it's all there, it just snaps in, just like that. And we're done. It's really, really simple to install. And it's just a little tiny thing that takes a little bit of time to give your whole entire drive a lot more comfortability. Sometimes people keep these on here. I think they look great, but if you have to take them off, we got a nice little bag. I kind of like this bag, one, it gives you a place to put them. You don't really get that with some of the other options. But two, it has the little divider on the inside. So once we go ahead and take this off, we can put this in there, plenty of room, and it's just going to be completely divided from the other ones. So let's just show you the other options that you have. There's a couple of other custom fit options. I like those. Those are the best and the snap and zaps are my favorite, but if you really wanted to go with the bare bones and just get a universal towing mirror, maybe you have multiple vehicles you tow with, which I usually just have one tow rig. But with this one, it takes a little bit longer to install. It's obviously not near as pretty as the snap and zaps. The straps, they get the job done, but really it just doesn't look good. And it's really not very aerodynamic at all. So this is the very entry level way to see more behind your vehicle. And it's also not really that aerodynamic and it does have a decent amount of play. You can tighten the straps up, but with the rubber straps, you're always going to have a decent amount of play. So this will get the job done. Just not something I'll put on my vehicle. But one thing that the universal towing mirrors do have over the snap and zaps is you can actually rotate so you can go upright or you can go to the side. So that is one thing that you get with the universals, but I don't think that's enough for me to go with this 'cause I just don't really like the look. Now, you can see the difference between the custom fit snap and zap and the universal towing mirror. So you can kind of see what I'm talking about. It's not really my cup of tea. So if you have a custom fit towing mirror option, definitely go with that. And if you have a snap and zap option, those are definitely my favorite. I purchased these towing mirrors to fit my 20-5 GMC Canyon about a year ago as we prepared to move from Arkansas to Colorado. Fitment, ease of attachment and removal are all excellent. The only reason for a 4 star review is that at highway speeds the mirrors exhibited a good amount of vibration that blurred images somewhat. Otherwise, they worked just as expected.
Super easy to install looks exactly like the vehicle stock mirror. Only thing I did t like is the vibration from the road shakes the mirror a lot. But still a good buy
They work great, I only use them when pulling my cargo trailer. No flapping in the wind and tight fit. Couldn’t be happier as these were hard to source for a GMC Canyon.
They fit nicely, go on and off fairly easily at least in a heated shop not sure if they would out in the cold but they are not wide enough for a 8.5 ft snowmobile trailer to see what’s coming up from behind on my Chevy Colorado and they vibrate to much to see any distance anyway
You keep me informed along the way as it was out of stock initially. That presented no problem for me. Once shipped it arrived as predicted in good shap and fir perfectly. Thanks again for the good selection of products as always. I’ll be bach when the need arises.
It took me longer to open the box than to install them. They look like they were factory installed. I couldn't be more pleased.

I liked them so much that I bought another set for my new tow vehicle. Still highly recommend them
These are great for looks compared to others, and the fitment is great as well. Once there snapped on they don't move or flap around. I've had mine on the truck for months at a time. I gave it two stars because of the mirrors vibration. You can't really see out of them going down the road. Parking is about the only use case I've found for them. If you tow alot look into Clearview Next Gen Extendable Towing Mirrors pricey but worth the money.
These mirrors fit and look great. There's no vibration or movement when going down the road and help a lot with visibility when towing.

Quick and easy installation. Good set of mirrors.
Really helped when towing my boat. Was able to see behind boat and know when I could safely change lanes. Also helped when backing boat into water

I like the mirrors. They fit good and look stock. I put them on and thanks to etrailer s video it was super easy. I had the mirrors with the rubber straps but they wiggled around too much. These are much better.
Product is good. Don't like your shipping wit sure post, cost me another day.Sure post is cheaper I quess.

Heavy vibration is not something that is a normal complaint with these mirrors. I just want to ask if you received the felt pieces that go inside the mirror? It is possible that thicker pieces may help with the vibration.

I didnt have the mirrors mounted properly which made them vibrate a lot, but even after correcting the installation they still vibrate more than I would like. I am taking an extended trip soon and I will get a better idea of how the mirrors function. If you would like a review of the mirrors after the trip, I would be happy to do that.
Love the way they snap on. The fit was perfect for my Chevy Colorado. A little jiggly, but still able to see cars. Too bad they aren't maybe an inch wider. I could see cars behind me on curves & turns, but not on straightaway. Not sure it enhanced view over the truck's mirrors or just gave me a sense of a peace of mind.loved the packaging! Keeps mirrors from causing scratches between them.

I put them on when I got them and never took them off. No wind noise and works great on my Colorado for hauling my camper. Over a year and no issues.
As promised, it was a perfect fit for my Colorado. Snaps on and off easily and the view isn't blurry when towing. Having the divided storage bag was just icing on the cake. Very happy with this purchase.
The mirrors had a great fit! Tight, no vibration. Nice finish. They look like original.
I have a clear protective product on my mirrors and the instructions were clear about how to deal with that possibility.
They fit perfectly and look like an original stock install!!

These mirrors worked great on my Colorado. I sold the Colorado and bought a Sierra and ordered Snap and Zap for the Sierra. They are great and do not vibrate at al. I only wish the lens were slightly convex like the manufacturer camping mirrors.
