Can I Use the Rhino-Rack Vortex with the Yakima BigCatch Kayak Saddle on a 2019 VW Golf 5 Dr

Hello. I have some questions about the Rhino-Rack RS 2500 flush bar system for the 5dr VW Golf/GTI. I guess Im also not sure if this is the same as the Vortex ROC25 flush bar system. 1. Does the front bar mount where the plastic tab is located in the front door frame? 2. Can I still operate my moonroof with the roof rack installed? 3. Is this system compatible with the Yakima Big Catch kayak saddles?

I'll try to tackle these in the order you asked them:
1) No, the # RRRS605B will not mount where the plastic tab is and will instead mount 7-7/8" towards the front of the vehicle from the line where the front and rear door meet- the # RRRS605B will clamp into the door jams on your 2019 VW Golf 5dr
2) It's generally a no-go when it comes to opening your moon roof with a roof rack attached to your roof. Luckily this roof rack is fairly easy to install and remove so you'll likely want to not have it attached when you're not carrying anything-at least if you want to utilize this feature. This is a low profile roof rack, so it's really not ideal for even cracking the vent.
3) You would be able to use the Yakima BigCatch # Y04091 on aero style crossbars like the ones in the # RRRS605B.
With all of this being said, the Yakima Roof Rack Kit with Jetstream Cross bars- which uses parts # Y00425, # Y28TR, # Y06123, # Y06125 might be a better option to allow you to vent the moonroof since it sits higher on your roof compared to the Rhino-Rack. This rack is also compatible with the Yakima Big Catch kayak saddles.
