The factory and even some aftermarket leaf spring and equalizer bushings are usually very poor quality and simply do not last but a few seasons. The breakdown of these bushings creates noise and then causes additional strain to be put on other suspensions components making them wear out faster as well. Therefore, the incorporation of upgraded leaf spring and equalizer bushings, the Never Fail Bushing part # TRBU11566, part # LC279684, or part # LC279686 in particular are definitely worth the time and effort especially if you are already doing suspensions work. The Never Fail Bushing are durable so they will last you a lifetime (literally) and they are self lubricating so you don't have to worry about constantly greasing your eye bolts.
If you have not already made your mind up on a set of cushion equalizers, I have installed and tested both the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System part # K71-652-00 and the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers part # LC279688 personally and they are my two favorite options on the market.
