Choosing the Correct Replacement Leaf Springs for a Weekend Warrior Toy Hauler

Question:

Need new springs for my weekend warrior toy hauler. Max capacity is 7800 lbs. looking for 25.25” 4 leaf double eye springs. I found a 3 leaf spring in your inventory that was 2000lb capacity per spring, but no 4 leaf spring. Is there a difference between a 3 leaf Vs a 4 leaf spring. The 4 leaf springs are 1750 lbs 7,000 lb total or 2500 lbs per Spring at 10,000 lbs Would using the 2500 lbs springs on the axels be too much at 10,000 lbs. I would never go over the 7800 lb max capacity of my toyhauler.

In order to choose the correct replacement leaf springs for a trailer you'll need to know both the unloaded length and axle capacity. The number of springs is not relevant so long as you choose a set that matches the axle capacity as springs can have different thicknesses therefore different weight capacities not necessarily dependent on the number of leaves. A few other things to keep in mind is that leaf springs can lengthen over time and you need to replace them in pairs. I have attached some options below which will be based on axle capacity.

3.5K-4K Axle part # e57SR
5K Axle part # e28SR
6K Axle part # e34SR

I have a 2005 28ft Weekend Warrior Super lite 5th wheel that I need to replace the leaf springs on. Can you help me with the right size?

@JudyA Unfortunately I am not certain what size/length leaf springs are on your Weekend Warrior 5th Wheel. I have linked some help articles on on both double eye and slipper spring leaf spring suspension setups. Both articles have sections on replacing leaf springs and the measurements needed to find the right springs for your trailer. Check out that section for the style spring on your trailer and let us know if you have any questions from there.
