Question:

I have a three horse sooner trailer that currently has 7.00-15lt tires and I need to replace all four. Which do you recommend?

It is definitely a good idea to replace your light truck (LT) tires with trailer tires on your horse trailer. The closest in size to that tire is a ST225/75R15 tire, which is 28.4" in diameter, 8.9" wide and fits 15" x 6", 15" x 6-1/2" or 15" x 7" wheels. You do need to make sure you have enough clearance in between your fender and frame rail for the wider 8.9" 225/75-15 tire; your current tire is 7.8" wide.

I highly recommend going with the Kenda 225/75-15 tires, and you only need to find the one with the right load range for your trailer:

- Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # AM10303 (2,830 lb capacity)

- Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D # AM10256 (2,540 lb capacity)

- Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C # AM10251 (2,150 lb capacity)

I have added links to video reviews of each of these tires for you to check out as well.
