Wiring Harness For 2016 Ford F-150 Without Tow Package
Question:
I got a trailer with a 7 way and not sure what all I need on the truck side. It's a 20 Ford F150 without tow package so don't have the hitch, etc. I'm gonna need.

You are correct you will need a hitch as well as wiring harness and ball mount to tow your trailer. My hitch recommendation is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C86HR. It comes in a gloss black finish that not only resists corrosion but also is less susceptible to scratches.
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # C56413 is a great choice connecting quickly and easily with no cutting or splicing of wires so you'll have the 7 way connector you need as well as the mounting bracket. Using Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors # 11755 is a good idea to make sure you keep grime out and maintain a reliable electrical connection.
Finally a great ball mount option is the Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount # C45900 that allows you to pull multiple trailers with 2" and 2-5/16" balls plus multiple rise and drop settings to ensure you have a level towing setup with multiple height trailers.
Included are video resources with additional information on these solutions to get you started.
