The package arrived quickly but was a little rough looking. Considering the contents that shipped, it wasn't surprising though. All pieces were securely wrapped on the trailer hitch and we are very satisfied with our purchase!

2021 Ford F-150

Product was shipped very quickly and is a stout hitch. The installation was fairly easy once you have a good understanding of what to do the photos in the instructions were no help they are dark and don't show much detail. The drawing was easier to follow all the nessary parts and tool are included. Don't be hesitant. Just take your time and it will come together easily.

  • Is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver C26HR a Confirmed Fit For a 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor
Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C26HR is a confirmed fit for your 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor as long as you have a factory hitch. This hitch is made in the USA and will provide you with a Class IV hitch that has a 2" receiver opening. The 2" receiver is the most common size used for hitch mounted accessories such as bike racks, cargo carriers and ball mounts. If you do not have a factory hitch, then you would want to go with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C86HR which is a class III...

  • What Hitch and Bike Rack do You Recommend for My 2022 Ford F-150?
For a hitch on your 2022 Ford F-150, I recommend the Curt Hitch - 2" # C86HR. Not only does this hitch provide you with 900 pounds of maximum tongue weight and 6,000 pounds of maximum towing weight, it also comes with a gloss outer coat over the powder base coat that provides ultimate rust and corrosion resistance. It is also assembled here in the U.S.A. As far as the bike rack, I recommend the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider # HR200Z. Apart from the 45-pound per-bike weight capacity, the...

The Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT35MR will not fit your 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor. However, if you still need a heavier duty hitch, and have a factory hitch currently, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C26HR is confirmed to fit your Raptor and will work great. This hitch has a maximum towing capacity of 10,000lbs and a maximum tongue weight of 1,000lbs. If you do not have a factory hitch installed, then I recommend another alternative like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver...

  • Trailer Hitch and Brake Controller Recommendation for 2016 Ford F-150 with 4-Way Trailer Connector
For your 2016 Ford F-150 the Curt hitch part # C86HR is a confirmed fit and would work great. Then to convert the 4-way to a 7-way and install the brake controller would actually want the part # 37185 and the brake controller install harness part # 22292. Follow the 4-way trailer connector wires from the trailer connector to the front of the vehicle. These wires connect to a factory plug along the frame rail, usually on the driver's side, between the back tires and the rear bumper. The...

  • Trailer Hitch and Weight Distribution System for 2018 Ford F-150 Towing 6,000 lb Trailer
First let's start with a trailer hitch for your 2018 Ford F-150. For that you'd want the Curt hitch part # C86HR which is a confirmed fit and rated for weight distribution. When used with a WD system you'd have a 10,000 lb trailer weight capacity too. This hitch is also made in the US and has a concealed crosstube. The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes...

  • Why Does 2017 Ford F-150 with EcoBoost have Two Trailer Towing Capacities
The second higher capacity listed on your hitch is the capacity the truck would have if you used a weight distribution system installed on the trailer. A WD system uses spring bar tension between the truck and trailer to redistribute some of the tongue weight up to the front axle of the tow vehicle. This allows the weight of the trailer to basically be better distributed which allows it to have a higher towing capacity. I attached a help article for more info on this, but basically if you...

  • Trailer Hitch for a 2015 Ford F-150 and Availability of a Tick Removal Tool
The most popular Class III trailer hitch for your 2015 Ford F-150 is # C86HR. It is rated for 6,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 900 pounds tongue weight. When used with weight distribution it is rated for 10,000/1,000 pounds. If you plan on doing some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. • How Does Brake Controller Install on 2019 Ford F-150 with Factory 4-Way
To install a brake controller like the Hopkins Agility part # HM47295 in your 2019 Ford F-150 you'd actually just need the # 37185 which would plug into the 4-way you have at the rear of your truck and then you'd splice the blue wire of the adapter to the blue wire of the harness you can see in the attached picture. Instead of the Agility I would strongly recommend the iCommand part # TK63VR as it performs much better and is much more reliable as well. For a Class III hitch part # C86HR...

  • Wiring Harness For 2016 Ford F-150 Without Tow Package
You are correct you will need a hitch as well as wiring harness and ball mount to tow your trailer. My hitch recommendation is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C86HR. It comes in a gloss black finish that not only resists corrosion but also is less susceptible to scratches. • Tonneau Cover Recommendation and Bike Rack for 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor
I'm happy to recommend a tonneau cover and we can get you a bike rack for your 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor, but there is no way to use a truck-bed bike rack with a tonneau cover as they will interfere with each other. So let's start with the tonneau, and since you want to ensure protection for your truck bed, the best option is definitely a locking cover, and for that I highly recommend the RetraxONE MX Hard Tonneau Cover # RT60373.
