Where is Does the Brake Line Attach on Disc Trailer Brakes

Question:

I am repairing my trailer. I have replaced the brakes and the fitting on the caliper for the new disk brake has 2 holes for the brake line in addition to a bleeder hole. Do I daisy chain the brake line for brake to brake caliper or do I need to cap off the extra hole and run a line to each brake caliper seperately? I need to know so I can get the right amout of brakeline.

What you are probably seeing is a brake caliper that has 1 inlet from the actuator and 2 bleeder screws. This is because the calipers can be mounted on the left or right side so you will always have a bleeder screw that is pointed up. This is the one you use for bleeding the brakes. You will not run a brake line between the brakes.

I have included a link to an FAQ article that may help. The article is specifically on electric over hydraulic braking systems but it will still be helpful. I have also included a link to our brake lines. And I have included a link to some instructions for a disc brake kit that should also be helpful.
