I'm wondering what you can tell me is the best trailer hitch for 2020 Chevy Equinox? I would also like to know what wiring I need to add for trailer lights please?

The best trailer hitch for your 2020 Chevy Equinox is the Draw-Tite because of all the hitches that fit your Equinox it is the easiest to install, has the most capacity (4,500 lbs towing & 675 lbs tongue weight) and is the only hitch rated for use with a weight distribution system. The correct Draw-Tite hitch for your '20 Equinox is going to depend on if you have a Diesel engine or a non-Diesel engine:

- Non-Diesel Engine: Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76419

- Diesel Engine: Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76217

For trailer wiring, the best option is from Tekonsha, because we have found they produce the most reliable wiring harnesses. The correct harness is going to depend on the model of your 2020 Chevy Equinox, whether it is a Premier or not:
