Can XL Anti-Rattle Receiver Lock be Used for Bike Rack on 2017 Ford F-250 with 2-1/2" Receiver
Question:
I have a 2017 F250 Super Duty with a 2 1/2 inch receiver. I want to use the 2 1/2 to 2 reducer sleeve that came with my truck to mount a bike rack with a 2 inch hollow shank. Will this lock work?

As long as your bike rack has a hollow shank the XL Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2-1/2" Hitches # SHP2040-XL should work just fine. This has an inside pin length, or span, of 3-1/2" which should work well with the 2-1/2" receiver on your 2017 Ford F-250.
If your bike rack has a threaded pin then you'll need a pin that specifically fits your bike rack. We carry most brands of bike racks so if this is the case just let me know what you have and I can try to help you find a solution that works for your application.
