Question:

I have a 2019 forest River cedar creek silverback 31IK fifth wheel. Will this pin box work with my camper and will it help with chucking?

The Gen-Y Hitch Torsion 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter Pin Box # 325-GH-8045 does fit your 2019 Forest River Cedar Creek Silverback 31IK fifth wheel trailer and will help with chucking. The torsion spring setup of this will make a huge difference in smoothness when you are travelling as it does an excellent job reducing vertical and horizontal chucking. Another interesting claim that Gen-Y makes with this style of cushioning is that it increases fuel mileage too!

You'll need to have a gooseneck hitch installed in the bed of your truck too. If you need helping picking that out let me know the year/make/model of your truck and I'll see what would be your best option.

I also attached a review video for this adapter for you to check out as well.

I have a 2011 DRV 38tksb3. 18,500 lb GVWR. It has a Tri Glide pin box now. Will this bolt on. Also do you carry the heavier Gen Y Goose neck pin box? I tow with a Ram 3500 mega cab Dually 6.5 Bed Does this move the trailer back any in the bed? Using a Demco auto slider I purchased from Etrailer last year. 21k.

The Gen-Y Adapter Pin Box # 325-GH-8045 is confirmed to replace the Lippert 1621 and 1621HD factory pin boxes. I wasn't able to track down what specific model your DRV came equipped with. If you can locate a model number on the pin box itself I will be happy to verify if this will work (or recommend an alternative). It will keep the trailer at about the same position it is now in relation to your truck bed. This is the only Gen-Y Gooseneck Pin Box we currently have available.
