You will just need a few more things to install the Hopkins Agility Brake Controller, # HM47294, in your 2005 Ford F-150. The first thing you will want is the Hopkins Plug-in Simple Wiring Adapter, # HM47715. This adapter will plug into the factory brake controller port under the drivers side dash of your vehicle. You should see an open ended, gray plug hanging down near the diagnostic port. I have attached a photo showing what this port should look like.

The next item you will want is the 4-Way to 7-Way Adapter, # 37185. This adapter will give you the 7-Way connector at the back of your vehicle and has the additional power and brake wires needed to install a brake controller. If you follow the wires from the factory 4-Way, then you should see a connection point where there are more wires going into the the connector from the front of the vehicle than coming out. The power and brake wires from this adapter will splice into the power and brake wires on the vehicle wires. I have attached a photo showing these wires and the connector you should look for.

I have attached installation instructions and an installation video of this adapter on a 1999 Ford F-250 for you to check out. The vehicle is different, but the installation process will be the same.
