What is Needed to Convert Oil Bath Hub to Grease and Also Pick Out Replacement Spindle
Question:
my oil bath system and spindles are shot and I wanna go to a old school grease setup. I dont want the expensive spindles with the grease passage way to the inner bearing. can you help me to get a regular spindle and a bearing and grease seal setup? thank you

In general you don't have to do anything to your current setup to convert it to grease aside from just remove all of the oil and replace it with grease. The oil seals will work just fine with grease instead so all you need is hub grease like the LMX Red part # L11390 and you'd be set.
Since your spindles are shot though I will need to know more info to pick out the correct replacements. Use a digital caliper like the part # PTW80157 to measure the spindle you have where the bearings and seal ride and let me know what you find. Or you can check out the link I attached to see all of the spindles we offer and there's a chart at the top that you can use to identify what you have and get correct replacement.
