I called Tekonsha and they said they have had one other customer with this issue while using the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118778 on a 2019 Honda Ridgeline. The cause of this issue was a bad converter box so that may be what is causing your running lights not to work as well. I also took a look through the instructions and compared them to the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56365. It looks like each manufacturer recommends installing fuses in different places so just to be sure, make sure you have a fuse in each of the following:
Position 3 - 10 Amp
Position 6 - 7.5 Amp
Position 7 - 7.5 Amp
Position 9 - 20 Amp
