Removing Cap of 2017 Honda Ridgeline to Install Trailer Wiring
Question:
How do you get the cap off the rear connection and not break the tabs. A video would be most helpful.

While we don't have a video I can hopefully explain how to remove the cap of the wiring on your 2017 Honda Ridgeline to install the trailer wiring # 118288.
Remove the connector from the cross-member using a pry tool like # ALL648544. Remove the dark blue fastener from housing by sliding it rearward. Remove the protective cover taking care not to damage the locking tabs (picture with G in corner). The tabs need to be fully pushed down and released to allow the cap to come off. Insert the custom wiring connector into the vehicle connector. Make sure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place.
