what is the correct torque spec for a nut on a 2 inch Ball towing a drift boat and trailer approximate weight 700Lbs

Expert Reply:
The 2" Hitch Ball like the # A-90 requires a foot pound torque of 450 but I would really need to know your specific ball to tell you the torque rating.
An impact wrench is the preferred installation method but if you don't have access to that, you can also torque down with a 1-7/8" wrench or socket. After inserting the ball mount in your receiver sideways you can torque it down as tight as you possibly can. Included is a video resource for this hitch ball example.
