The install of the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3305 really isn't too difficult to install. It's pretty basic as long as you have basic hand tools. I attached an install video for this that will walk you through the entire process.
This is a fifth wheel hitch which is designed for RV styles of trailers. RV camping trailers use fifth wheel hitches as their standard connection point and then gooseneck hitches are common in horse trailers and heavy equipment. Both work fine but it really depends on the style of trailer you are planning to tow.
