The Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, # 13542, will fit on your 2007 Ford Freestyle. You may be interested in a few other items if you plan on doing any towing with this hitch. I would recommend you also get the T-One Wiring Harness, # 118395, and the Ball Mount Kit, # EBMK4. This kit comes with a ball mount, 1-7/8 inch and a 2 inch hitch ball and a pin and clip.
The wiring harness will plug directly into the tail light assembly on your vehicle. I have included a link to the installation instructions and an installation video of this wiring harness for you to check out. The vehicle is different from your vehicle, but it should give you an idea how to install this wiring harness.
This hitch a gross trailer weight capacity of 3500 lbs and a tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs. You should check your owners manual for limitations and weight capacities for towing with your vehicle.
