Yes, Hopkins 4-pole trailer wiring harness # 42475 is a confirmed fit on the 2003 Jeep Liberty and is one of the three such wiring products we offer for your Jeep.

However, based on our experience with all the brands of wiring products we have for your Liberty I do recommend a different option, the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118524 from Tekonsha. I recommend this product over both other options (all are shown on the linked page) because we know Tekonsha products to be very reliable and because it is the ONLY one that will provide isolation and protection of your Jeep's internal wiring from any potential short circuits or other wiring faults on the camper. The other wiring kits could allow an overload on the trailer to damage your vehicle's internal wiring.

This 4-pole wiring kit uses a separate 12V battery connection for powering the trailer lights; the other harnesses rely on the car's own internal wiring to handle all the current required for the trailer lights. This means that if something went wrong on the trailer's wiring the car's own wiring could also be at risk. It costs a lot more to fix damaged vehicle wiring than to simply plug in a new harness. I strongly recommend you invest in the Tekonsha wiring kit # 118524.

Installation is mostly a plug-in process as with the Hopkins part. The one wire you need to route on the vehicle simply goes from the harness to the battery and a helpful article on routing that wire is linked for you. We've had a chance to install this part on a 2003 Liberty and the linked video will show you how easy it is to install this kit.

To complete your towing setup you might also consider hitch ball and ball mount kit # EBMK2EL and a set of universal towing mirrors like # KS3891-2 which will help you keep an eye on your Fun Finder.
