Will the PVC Tubes Come Off the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-On If the Boat Is Launched Too Far

Will the pvc float off of the bars if the trailer is put into the water too far?

Expert Reply:
The tubes on the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-On part # CE27626 are notched which then allows them to be held in placing by lining these notches up with the tab on the post. This will then keep the tubes attached if you were to launch your trailer too far under water. There is also the option of running a single self tapping screw though the tube and into the post if you do have issues but I do not feel you will have any problem with the above.
