According to my research on the 2012 Jay Feather X17a has a single Torflex axle. However, I was not able to find the axle capacity on the trailer. You most likely have a 3,500 Lb axle based on my research so the Torflex Lift Kit part # K71-707-01 for 2,300 to 4,000-lb axle capacities will work well for you. Please keep in mind the lift kit cannot be used on Torflex axles with 3" high profile brackets. This is the bracket that attaches the axle to the frame of your trailer. If yours is taller than 3 inches, the lift kit cannot be used.

The Jayco Jay Feather Lite x17z uses a Dexter Torflex Axle so we do have lift kits available. The correct one is the Torflex Lift Kit part #K71-707-01 for model #10 from 2,300 lbs to 4,000 lbs.
