Compatibility of Hollywood Racks Rack Valet Storage Cart with Thule T2 with 2 Bike Add-On

Question:

Thule T2 WITH add on... and this rack Hollywood Racks Rack Valet Rolling Storage Cart for Hitch-Mou Hello. I have the Thule T2 classic rack with the T2 add on for a total of 4 bikes. Im considering this rack to both transport my T2 in and out of the garage to the car... And for storage. Just curious if anyone has some Hands-On real life experience using this rack with the Thule T2 and T2 add on. I know it says the weight capacity is 100 lb, and the T2 with the T2 add on is pushing the hundred pounds... So just curious how stable it is and how easily it rolls around and transports. Thanks.

The Hollywood Racks Rack Valet Rolling Storage Cart for Hitch-Mounted Bike Racks - 100 lbs # HRRV-1 will work well for your application. The T2 Pro XTR # TH69XT weighs 52 lbs when set up as a 2-bike rack and weighs 96 lbs when set up as a 4-bike rack and within the limits of the Rack Valet.

The Rack Valet rolls very well with the caster wheels and is stable with its 23-1/2 inch wide by 23-3/4 inch depth. The locking casters also help secure the rack in place for storage as well as loading and unloading the rack. I've attached a video to assist.

I have the Hollywood bike rack with the additional add on for a total of 4 bikes. Does this rack valet have room for both the rack and the add on for the additional two bikes?

Yes, the Hollywood Racks # HRRV-1 will work great for the full 4-bike Hollywood Racks setup.

@ChrisR where will the 2-bike addition fit on the rack valet? Thanks!

@RaniaA There's not a separate receiver on the valet for the extension. What you will do is simply attach the original 2-Bike carrier to the valet and then secure the extension to the rack itself (just like you would if you were actually using the carrier on your hitch.
