Troubleshooting Equalizer of Triple Axle Suspension Tilted Against Frame

Question:

I have a 2008 raptor triple axle. Installed the Dexter equalizer new axles 7000# and new springs and heavy duty Dexter shackles. If I jack up the trailer and pry everything back the next time I go down the road the equalizer ends up the same way. Could the spring be to Long?Equalizer tilted against frame

Most likely the trailer isn't sitting perfectly level which is causing the equalizers to not sit as level as possible. First thing I would check is that your trailer sits as level as possible when it's towing. If the equalizer is still wanting to tilt the wrong direction then most likely you have too long of springs or equalizers. You could go with shorter springs or equalizers to address this. I'd need to know the length of your equalizers to determine the correct shorter ones but for springs for a 7,000 lb axle all we have is the part # e64SR which is 24-7/8 inches long.
