How to Prevent Pin Box from Hitting Bedside on a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Short Bed

My fithwheel wont fit the truck. The neck will hit side wall

It sounds like you are saying that the pin box on your 5th wheel trailer is coming into contact with the bedsides on your truck. If that is the case then in order to fix this issue you will need to raise the 5th wheel hitch head up to the highest setting (if applicable). However, this may then make the trailer unlevel so if that is the case you will need to either adjust the pin box inside the wing set on the trailer (if applicable) and or raise the height of the trailer.

I am not sure which 5th wheel hitch you are using so I don't know what your maximum height setting is but I can tell you that the tallest 5th wheel hitch we offer is the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider part # C16541 if you have above bed base rails which offers up to 21-1/2".

If you can let me know what 5th wheel hitch you have and send me some photos of your setup, I may have more information for you.
