Replacement Hub Recommendation for Trailer with L44649 Bearings, and L44649 and L68149 Bearings

Question:

I am currently fixing up 2 trailers and I would like some expertise to make sure I order the correct parts. The first is my boat trailer. It is a Shorelandr SLB7TS, 700lb tadpull trailer. It has 4.80X12 tires, a 5 on 4 1/2inch bolt pattern and is running L44649 bearings. I recently lost a wheel when I blew a bearing so I am looking for options for: New hub assemblies? I would like to replace both and keep the current one as a spare A new spindle on the one side? If I have to replace both I will Also I am wondering what grease seals are the proper seals so I can order spares for when I remove the bearings to grease them. I was also wondering if there are bearing buddies designed to fit these hub assemblies? The second trailer is a 3500 lb utility trailer. The bearings are: Inside bearing L68149, Outside bearing is 44649. Essentially same questions minus spindle. Hub assemblies? Grease seals? Bearing buddies that will fit? Thank you for any help you can offer

For your trailer hub that has bearing numbers # L44649 and a bolt pattern of 5 on 4-1/2 inch the trailer hub part # AKIHUB-545-2-1K that you referenced would be the correct hub. It comes with the correct grease seals as well. For additional seals though you'd need the part # 10-9. For a replacement spindle you'd want the part # TRU44FR. If you need a wheel and tire we have the Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" White Spoke Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 # AM30660 which matches the size tire and bolt pattern you are in need of as well.

Then for the 3,500 lb axle the correct replacement hub is the part # Q-HUB84545 and the seals are # 58846.
