Landing Gear Replacement for 2007 Keystone Cougar 29BHS

Question:

I need to replace my landing gear. On my 2007 cougar 29BHS. The existing welded brackets have a measured distance of 11 1/4 inches. My existing Landing gear doesnt even look like it has welded stops.

Helpful Expert Reply:

If your brackets are 2" tall then you most likely have the standard weld stop measurements of 15-1/2" inside to inside (see attached photo). With this being the case I recommend going with the Landing Gear Set # RVLG-8000 which has a weight rating of 8,000 lbs and offers 20-1/2" of travel. Since you have an older trailer I bet the weld stops have just been wedged in the mounting brackets which is why you are having a hard time finding them.

This set comes with the gearbox and you can either operate them manually using the hand crank # RVLG-HDL or electronically with the 12V DC motor # LC142178 and switch # LG-145236.

Would RVLG-8000 work for replacement on our 2010 Keystone Laredo 321BH? The current leg shaft is 29.5" in length. Standard 15.5" between brackets. 62.5" horizontal distance between the legs.

Based on the dimensions you listed the etrailer Landing Gear Set # RVLG-8000 will work perfectly as a replacement on your Keystone Laredo.
