Today we're going to review part number STR-40-S. This is the Custer 40-LED light bar with the controller box. Has a magnet suction cup mount, and it measure about 23 inches in length. Now this an LED multi-function strobe light bar that will mount temporarily to your vehicles roof. Right now it's actually suction cup there, so if we pry up on it, you can see that the mounts. You could use it.
They're both magnetic and suction cup mounts. They do have 40 LEDs through the whole light bar, providing bright amber light. There's 10 modules in each housing, which is 4 LEDs each. The dash mount control right here will let you choose 6 different flash patterns. And as I mentioned, this magnet and suction cup combination will let you mount and detach very easily. The light bar does hard-wire to your vehicle's 12 volt system.
And what I'm going to do now is I got a 12 volt power source, we're going to hook this to. I just want to give you an idea . We're going to turn off the overhead lights to give you an idea of the different strobe pattern it has. Let me just hook the ground up. Got the ground and then we'll hook the power wire up.
OK. What we'll do . Go ahead and turn the power on. I'm going to go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. Now I'm going to turn on the controller box.
You'll be able to see that's 1 pattern and then the switch right over here controls all 6 patterns. So if I hit it once . There's the 2nd pattern. There's the 3rd pattern. There's the 4th pattern. There's the 5th pattern. And there's the 6th pattern. And if we hit it again it should go back to what the 1st one was. Now we'll go ahead and turn on the . Let me go ahead and turn the . Off. We'll go ahead and turn on the overhead lights again. So that gives you a good idea, you got a good range of patterns to be used with this light bar. This does come with a 3 year limited warranty.
