For highway driving radials like the item # TTWTRTM2257515D that you referenced are usually preferred because radials have more flex in the sidewalls which gives them excellent traction on paved roads. For off-road driving or driving on rough surfaces a bias ply tire is often preferred because it has stiffer sidewalls that will hold up better to the uneven surfaces.
As far as the weight Load Range goes you can always select the appropriate size tire with a higher weight capacity if one is available. Tires will run cooler when they are operated below their maximum capacity.
So, for example, on a trailer with a GVWR of 5000-lbs that has 4 tires, each tire has to handle at least 1250-lbs. If you used tires like # TTWTRTM2257515D, which are Load Range D tires rated for 2540-lbs, then you'd have a huge safety margin. This means less risk of a weight-related tire failure.
Tires also have speed ratings that can vary quite a bit. This tire # TTWTRTM2257515D also has a high speed rating "M", which means it is good to 81-mph. You always want to remain within both a tires weight rating and speed rating and always have them inflated to the maximum cold tire pressure noted on the tire sidewall.
