Trailer Tire Recommendation for Load Range D 225/75R15
Question:
I have a boat trailer with a GVR of 4200. Original tries were 225/75r15 loan range c. Is it an issue to use a 225/75r15 with a load range d?

There's no reason you couldn't go to a Load Range D 225/75R15 over a Load Range C.
I'd go with the part # TTWTRTM2257515D which has a weight capacity of 2,540-lb maximum load at 65 psi and has a speed rating of 81 mph. To get the full capacity of this tire you will need to be sure you keep the tire inflated to 65 psi at all times.
