Can 7.50-15 and 8.25-15 Size Tires Both be Used on Trailer
Question:
I have a equipment trailer with 8 7.50/15 tires on it right now. 4 out of the 8 are good used tires. I need to replace the other four. Can I put 8.25/15 used tires on it in combinations with the 7.50/15 tires. Will they be the same height? Will these work? Thank you for your advice.

It isn't by much but an 8.25-15 size tire will have a slightly smaller diameter/height than the 7.50-15 size tires (by about 0.27 inch) that your trailer is currently equipped with. An 8.25-15 tire will also be wider (by 0.75 of an inch).
Because of these differences I definitely do not recommend using both tire sizes on your trailer at once. The differences in diameter and width will cause abnormal tread wear, will likely cause a rough ride on the trailer, and may lead to premature tire failure. You will want to have the same size for all 8 tires on your trailer.
Both the 7.50-15 and 8.25-15 tires that you mentioned are relatively uncommon trailer tire sizes. We do not have either of these sizes available but we do have the ST225/75R15 that is just about a 1/2 inch shorter in overall diameter/height than the 7.50/15 size that you have now. Keep in mind that only half of this difference will actually affect the trailer's ride height.
For this size I recommend the Provider Radial Tire # TTWTRTM2257515D which features a maximum load of 2,540 pounds at 65 psi and an excellent speed rating of 81 mph. You will just want to make sure that the combined capacity for all 8 tires is sufficient for the fully loaded weight of your trailer. I have attached a short video demonstration on this tire that you can check out as well.
