Although we haven't installed the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver # E98868 on a 2015 Honda CR-V, we have installed the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13119 on a 2015 CR-V and found that from the ground to the top of the inside of the receiver measured 14-1/4". The reason we can use the measurement of the Curt is because these 2 trailer hitches have the exact same dimensions.
With this knowledge that would mean that you need a ball mount with about a 2" rise like the Curt Fusion Ball Mount # C45155 if the 16" measurement that you took was from the ground to the bottom of your coupler. This has a 2-1/4" rise which is perfect for your application. Please note that the exact height of the receiver on your CR-V may differ just because there could be differences of weight in the cargo area and how the tires were inflated from the CR-V in the video to yours.
If you don't already have wiring for your application then I also recommend installing the Curt T-Connector # C56158 which tees into your OEM wiring and provides you with a 4-Way Flat connector for your basic trailer lighting.
Installation videos for the trailer hitch and wiring have been linked for you to reference.
