Hollywood Racks TRS Bike Rack and Lock for Fitting Both 2 inch and 1-1/4 inch Hitches
Question:
I have multiple vehicles, usually using an 2001 F-150 with 2inch receiver, however also have 2017 crosstrek with 1-1/4inch receiver and the crosstrek has small inlet for the receiver. Could a 1-1/4inch to 2inch adapter be used with this rack or is the HR3000 a better option? Is there a lock option for the HR3000 similar to what comes with the HR3500? Also one bike is a womens downtube bike with a basket mounted, any concerns there? Or any other better options for a platform rack?

Since you plan to use a bike rack in both a 2 inch and 1-1/4 inch hitch size the best option is the version of the Hollywood Racks TRS that fits both of these hitch sizes without needing an additional adapter. For that you'd want the part # HR3000 that you mentioned as well. This is designed to fit both hitch sizes and would be a great option.
For a hitch and bike lock you'd then want the part # HRLHPTC and you'd be set. This comes with a cable lock to lock the bikes to the rack and a hitch lock to lock the rack to the hitch.
